Description

BIVINS, Judge. Hector Guzman (Defendant) appeals his conviction of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He pled guilty to
the charge, reserving the right to appeal the district court's denial of his motion to suppress evidence. On appeal, Defendant
argues that his constitutional rights were violated during his detention at the border patrol checkpoint where the marijuana
was found. We determine the district court could find the border patrol agent had reasonable suspicion to prolong Defendant's
detention and, therefore, affirm the denial of his motion to suppress.
